Jimmy Allen Chubb, Jr., 42 of Chattanooga, TN, died May 19, 2012 at his home. Jimmy was born April 24, 1970 in South Pittsburg, TN to Jimmy Allen and Evelyn Robinson Chubb. He was a graduate of South Pittsburg High School Class of 1990. He had worked as a roofer at Foam Creek Roofing over 10 years and at Lodge Manufacturing for about 6 years as an iron pourer. He was of the Baptist Faith.
Survivors include his mother Evelyn Robinson Chubb; wife Christie Hargis Chubb; children: Briana Chubb, Malik Chubb, Ashley Buchanan all of Chattanooga, TN and Nashae Pryor, Akeela Pryor, A'sha Chubb of South Pittsburg, TN; sister Clara Chubb; brothers: Ronald, Steve, Allen and Josh Chubb; special friend Margaret Edwards; uncles: Melvin, James and Robert Robinson, Gary, Edward, William and Jehu, Jr. Chubb; aunts: Glenda Sparks, Shirley Cox, Beverly Chubb, Theresa Marsh; nephew Ronald Chubb, Jr
He was preceded in death by his father Jimmy A. Chubb, Sr.; grandparents: James Robinson, Lucinda Wordlaw Robinson, Jehu and Clara Bell Paris Chubb; aunts: Forrestine Robinson, Glenda Fay Fennell, Janie B. Kelly; uncles: Jimmie Lee Robinson, and Bobby Robinson.
Visitation will be Wednesday 6-9 PM CDT at Rudder Funeral Home in Bridgeport, AL. The funeral service will be Thursday, May 24 at 12 noon at the funeral home chapel officiated by Pastor Paul Robinson. Interment will be at Cumberland View Cemetery in Kimball, TN. www.rudderfuneralhomes.com.
