Jimmy Owen Davis, 54 of Stevenson, AL, died October 21, 2011 at his home. He was the son of the late Harvey Eugene and Mary Lou Cates Davis born December 16, 1956 in the Big Coon Community of Stevenson, AL. He was a Stevenson High School Graduate Class of 75. He briefly served in the U.S. Army. Jimmy had worked as a fork-lift driver at Mead Paper Mill.
Survivors include: his daughters Lindsay Kay Davis of Whitwell, TN, Jimmie Brook Davis of Chattanooga, TN; grandson Samuel Owen Nelson; sister Linda (Mike) Reno of Harrison, TN; and nephew Michael (Christine) Reno of Chattanooga, TN.
Visitation will be Monday, 12 - 2 PM CDT at Rudder Funeral Home in Stevenson, AL. The funeral service will begin at 2 PM CDT on Monday,October 24, at the funeral home chapel. Interment will be in the St. Bonaventure Cemetery. www.rudderfuneralhomes.com
