Joan Elizabeth Morris Lovelady, 60 of Stevenson, AL died August 7, 2008 at McGuffey Health and Rehabilitation in Gadsden, AL. She was a member of the Order of Eastern Star in Bridgeport and past Worthy Matron of OES in Stevenson and a member of VFW.
Mrs. Lovelade was preceded in death by her husband Anthony Wayne "Tony" Lovelady and father James Franklin Morris.
She is survived by her mother Jennie Lee Rogers Morris of Stevenson; daughter Melina (Kevin) Wooten, Jr. of Scottsboro, AL; granddaughter Amaya Elizabeth Lewis; brother Billy Franklin (Brenda) Morris of Stevenson; other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be Friday 5-9 PM CDT at Rudder Funeral Home in Stevenson, AL. The funeral will be Saturday, August 9, at 2 PM at the funeral home chapel. Interment will be at Stevenson City Cemetery.
