Joey Todd Willis, 55 of Sherwood, TN died June 9, 2010 at Cumberland Health and Rehabilitation in Bridgeport, Alabama.
Joey was the son of the late Thomas Edward and Georgia Ellen Shetters Willis, born October 11, 1954 in Sherwood, TN. He was a graduate of Franklin Co. High School in Winchester, TN.
He had worked with the Sewanee Forestry Department, had been a custodian at Sherwood Elementary School and had helped with the Sherwood Volunteer Fire Department. He was a member of Sherwood Church of Christ.
Besides his parents, Joey was preceded in death by his brother Michael Edward Willis.
He is survived by his family and close friends.
Visitation will be Thursday 6-9 PM CDT at Rudder Funeral Home in Stevenson, AL. and Friday 10 AM- 2 PM at the Sherwood Church of Christ. The funeral service will begin at 2 PM CDT at the church officiated by Dr. Ray Winton. Interment will be at Mountain View Cemetery. www.rudderfuneralhomes.com
