Mr. John Mark Prestwood's Obituary
John Prestwood died Friday September 28, 2018 at East Alabama Medical Center in Opelika, Al. at the age of 60.
John was born in Chattanooga, Tn. December 26, 1957 to the late James “Jim” Prestwood and Helen Machen Prestwood. He was a member of Lanier Baptist Church in Lanett, Al and made a profession of faith at 12 yrs old at Highland Park Baptist Church in Chattanooga, Tn.
He attended Tyner High School in Chattanooga, Tn. He loved Chattanooga and his friends there and NW Ga. He was an avid Alabama football fan.
He is survived by his mother Helen Machen Prestwood, sisters Joy Prestwood Belcher(Bob), Barbara Prestwood King(Hennon) and niece Tanya King Waldrop(David). And a special niece Jamie Leming Waldrop(Mack)
Arrangements Visitation Tuesday Oct 2, 2018 2PM until 3PM at Rudder Funeral
Home in Scottsboro. Funeral Service will follow at 3PM from the chapel of Rudder
Funeral Home with Bro Bud Martin officiating . Burial will follow in Cedar Hill
