Mr. John Smith Jr.'s Obituary
John Smith, Jr. 92 of Skyline passed away today, Tuesday, July 29, 2014 at Highlands Medical Center after an extended illness.
He is survived by his children; William A. Smith of Hazel Green, Al, Minerva VanArsdale of Laramie, WY, LeAnne Pembleton of Atlanta, GA, Dr. Randle Smith of Pittsburgh, PA, and Kevin Smith of Pittsboro, NC. , and several grandchildren.
John was a Veteran of WWII in the Pacific Theater. He was in the U.S. Army Air Corp, 7th Air Force as a B-24 Flight Engineer. Mr. Smith retired from Boeing after 18 years of service.
He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Carroll Smith.
There will not be any services at this time.
