John Willard "Sonny" Mauk, Jr., 59 of Stevenson, AL, died accidentally June 27, 2008 in Ohatchee, AL along with his daughter Samantha Mauk. He was a Vietnam War Veteran with the U. S. Army and a truck driver with Storey Trucking Co.
John is survived by his wife Charlene Howard Mauk; children: Travis Mauk of Stevenson, AL, John W. Mauk III and Justin Mauk both of AZ, Misty Mauk of TN and other relatives.
Visitation will be Tuesday 5-9 PM CDT at Rudder Funeral Home in Stevenson, AL The funeral will be Wednesday, July 2, at 2 PM CDT at the funeral home chapel officiated by Rev. Dennis Bunch followed by burial at Mt. Carmel Cemetery in Bridgeport, AL.
