John B. Tibbits' Obituary
Mr. John B. Tibbits passed away peacefully at his home surrounded by his family and friends on Saturday, June 14, 2025. John moved to Scottsboro in 1985 from Dearborn County/Lawrenceburg, Indiana and continued his life there.
John is survived by his wife Pamela Tibbits; children, Sadie Tibbits, Corey Wilson and Chris Tibbits; Granddaughter, Daisy Owens; siblings, Darlene Osborne, Richard Tibbits, Pamela Craig Frago, Barry Tibbits, Ina Tibbits; and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends. Preceded in death by his grandmother, Loreen Camp; Parents, Richard and Ina Tibbits; siblings, Ronald Tibbits and Virginia Johnson. John was loved by many people. His personality was as big as he was. His smile, laugh, and words of wisdom will be deeply missed. He was the biggest Alabama fan. Always ready to yell Roll Tide. He will be missed by all who know him. He served in the US Army from 1980-1984 and was stationed at Ft. Campbell, KY ad Gehlhausen, Germany.
Visitation will be held on Monday, June 16, 2025 at Rudder Funeral Home, Scottsboro from 4-8:00PM,
