John Frank Wilkerson, 73 life-long resident of Stevenson, AL, died May 17, 2011 at Big Springs Specialty Care Center in Huntsville, AL.
John Frank was the son of the late Lonnie James and Nina Mae Nabors Wilkerson born May 10, 1938 in Stevenson, AL. Besides his parents, John was preceded in death by his sisters: Oma Smith and Ila Mae Ward. He had worked as a logger-farmer.
Survivors include his brothers: James Hugh (Rebecca) Wilkerson, Joe Mack (Ruby) Wilkerson all of Stevenson; sisters: Louise Smith of Bridgeport, AL, Mildred Littlejohn of IN; a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives.
Visitation will be Thursday, 5-9 PM CDT at Rudder Funeral Home in Stevenson. The funeral service will be Friday, May 20, at 2 PM CDT at the funeral home chapel. Interment will be at the Longacre Cemetery. www.rudderfuneralhomes.com
