Jordan Herman Wellington, 99 of Stevenson, AL, died September 10, 2014. Jordan was the son of the late Henry and Sally Jackson Wellington born May 9, 1915 in Hollywood, Alabama. Jordan had worked in construction and at TVA Widows Creek Steamplant. He was a member of Morning Star Baptist Church.
Mr. Wellington was preceded in death by his wife Maudie Lucille Martin Wellington. He is survived by his daughter Ann Wellington Holland of Nashville, TN; granddaughter Enja Holland Word of Jackson, TN; and grandson Marquies Holland of Antioch, TN.
The family will receive friends Saturday, September 13, 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Rudder Funeral Home in Stevenson, AL. The funeral service will begin at 12 Noon in the funeral home chapel officiated by Rev. William H. Langford. Interment will be in Stevenson Community Cemetery where military honors will be provided by Sequatchie Valley Honor Guard. rudderfuneralhomes.com
