Joyce Imogene Goff Kirk, 67 of Hilliard, FL formerly of Stevenson, AL died December 24, 2009 at Baptist Medical Center in Jacksonville, FL. She was born April 20, 1942 in Bridgeport, AL to Jessie Howard and Gladys Beulah Rogers Goff.
Joyce was a loving wife and mother and an avid Georgia Bulldog fan. She also had a great love for the cartoon character "Tweety".
Survivors include her loving husband of 52 years Grady Don Kirk of Hilliard, FL; children: Grady (Nancy) Kirk of Bryceville, FL, Donald (Frances) Kirk of Bryceville, FL, Matt (Tina) Kirk of Keystone Heights, FL, and Jeannie (Raymond) Hess of Hilliard, FL.; 11 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; brother Jessie (Lucy) Goff, Jr.of Bridgeport, AL; sister Beatrice (Jackie) Castle of Bryant, AL and nieces, nephews and other relatives.
Mrs. Kirk was preceded in death by her parents; sister Opal Talley; and brother Sidney Goff.
Visitation will be 2-6 PM CT Thursday at Rudder Funeral Home in Stevenson, AL. The funeral will be 11 AM CT Friday, January 1, 2010 at the funeral home chapel. Interment will be at Shipp Cemetery in Stevenson, AL.
