Juanita Elizabeth Parks Allison, 89 formerly of Stevenson, AL, a resident of Cumberland Health and Rehabilitation in Bridgeport, AL, died February 9, 2016 at Highlands Medical Center in Scottsboro, AL. Visitation will be Thursday, 6-8 PM CT at Rudder Funeral Home in Stevenson. The Funeral Service will be Friday, February 12, at 2 PM CT at First Baptist Church in Stevenson. Interment will be in Stevenson City Cemetery
Juanita was the daughter of the late Dwight Clemons "Pete" or "D.C." and Bessie A. Morris Parks, born March 23, 1926 in Stevenson, AL. Juanita was a member of First Baptist Church in Stevenson.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, Earl Russell Allison; daughter Jan Allison McMillan; siblings: Una Ray "Mutt" Parton, Imogene "Jean" Hambley, Jack Parks and J.T. Parks.
Survivors include her son: Bruce (Teresa) Allison of Section, AL, son-in-law Johnny McMillan of Russellville, KY; grandchildren: Allison Johns of Nashville, TN, Ashlie (Jeff) Blalack of Chattanooga, TN; great-grandchildren: Brady and Ben Blalack; nieces, nephews and other relatives. www.rudderfuneralhomes.com
