Juanita Walraven Farmer, 84 lifelong resident of Long Island Community in Bryant, AL passed away at home surrounded by her family on May 30, 2011. Annie Juanita was the daughter of the late Robert William and Lorien Wilford Walraven born Februay 6, 1927 in Long Island. Mrs. Farmer was a member of Long Island Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband of 60 years Franklin Elmous Farmer; son Robert Franklin "Frankie" (Helen) Farmer of South Pittsburg, TN; grandchildren: Brandon (Jenny) Farmer, Derek (Joyce) Farmer all of Long Island; great-grandchildren: Hannah, Braydon, Chassie, Ryan and Zane; brother Junior Walraven of Boaz, AL; sister Bobbie Caves of FL.
The family will receive friends Tuesday 5-9 PM CDT and Wednesday 2-9 PM CDT at Rudder Funeral Home in Bridgeport, AL. The funeral service will be held Thursday, June 2, at 2 PM CDT at the funeral home chapel officiated by Rev. Wayne Winters and Rev. Sam Whited. Interment will be in the Harris Chapel Cemetery.
