Judy Ann McCarver's Obituary
Judy Ann Williams-McCarver was born on February 24, 1950, to the late Theoddes (Otis) Clay and Amanda (Jenny) Williams in Jackson County, Alabama.
In the early morning of Tuesday, February 24,2026 at Huntsville Hospital Judy entered into eternal rest surrounded by family.
Judy confessed the Lord as her Savior at an early age and joined Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church Woodville, Alabama under the leadership of Rev Walter P. Petty
She was a graduate of George Washington Carver High School in Scottsboro, Alabama. She was employed at the Jackson County Alabama Sheriff Department for 33 years where she ensured daily meal service for the jail facility.
Judy is preceded in death by the love of her life of 23 years: Walter “Bo” Rayford McCarver, her parents: Theoddes (Otis) Clay and Amanda (Jenny) Williams.

Judy leaves to cherish her sweet and precious memories: a loving and devoted son: Wayne Williams (Faye) of Scottsboro, Alabama, Niece: Devida (Dee-Dee) Douglas of Scottsboro, Alabama, Great-Nephews: Elijawone (T.J.) L. Douglas of Lexington, KY, Samuel A. Douglas (Kindra) of Jackson, Tennessee and William D. Douglas of Jackson, Tennessee. Great-Great Nieces: Kamari Reece Douglas, Kamdyn Grace Douglas, K’Mayiah Blayke Douglas, Azaria Kyrie Douglas and Amonie Rose Douglas all of Jackson, Tennessee, Brother: George Clay of Chattanooga, Tennessee, Sister-in-laws: Gladys Gardner of Montgomery, Alabama, Edna Cutler, Lois McCarver, Mildred Osifo, Gerline McCarver and Rachael (James) Green, Dovie Green-McCarver all of Huntsville, Alabama, a loving and devoted Granddaughter that she loved with all her heart: Bre’Unna DaChell McCarver of Madison, Alabama a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 5, 2026 from 11:00 AM - 1:00 PM with Funeral Services to follow in the Rudder Funeral Home Chapel beginning at 1:00 PM with Rev. George Clay officiating. Interment will follow at Pinehaven Memorial Gardens in Hollywood, Alabama.
