Katherine Arlene Henson, 89 of Bridgeport, AL, died February 13, 2014 at the Cumberland Health and Rehabilitation in Bridgeport. Katherine was the daughter of the late John R. and Alice Mahallie Davis Henson, born December 26, 1924 in Jackson County Alabama. She had worked as a bookkeeper of the Henson Texaco Service Station in Bridgeport.
Besides her parents, Miss Henson was preceded in death by her siblings: Jim Henson, Grady Don "Dick" Henson, Mary Ruth Henson Engbrock, Virgie Estelle Henson, Gertrude Henson and Tenna Ida Henson.
Survivors include her nephews: John Henson, Donnie Henson, Barry Seay, Tony Seay, Jeff Seay and Brian Seay; several great-nephews, great-nieces and brother-in-law Andrew Engbrock.
Visitaton will be Saturday, 5-9 PM at Rudder Funeral Home in Bridgeport, AL. The funeral service will be Sunday, February 16, at 2 PM at the funeral home chapel officiated by Rev. Owen Durham. Interment will be in the Mt. Carmel Cemetery. www.rudderfuneralhomes.com.
