Katie Hall Ashmore 88 of Scottsboro, died October 1, 2014 at her residence.
Visitation is 6-9 PM, Wednesday, October 01, 2014 at Rudder Funeral Home in Scottsboro
Funeral services for Katie will be 3 PM, Thursday, October 2, 2014 at Rudder Funeral Home Chapel, Scottsboro.
Katie was preceded in death by her husband Pete Ashmore, parents; Bert and Amanda Hall and
Katie was a Mail Carrier with the US Postal Service for 17 years and was a member of the Bible Baptist Church in Scottsboro.
She is survived by sons; Isaac Ashmore and Waymon “Dick” (Dianne) Ashmore all of Scottsboro.
Daughter, Betty Hall and Alvin of Scottsboro, seven grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
Sisters; Elizabeth Hollis, and Lora Ashmore, Scottsboro, Bernice Baker, of GA and Mary Jane Chance of Scottsboro. Several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Scottsboro Nutrition Center, Rita Williams Drive, Scottsboro, Alabama 35769.
