Kenneth Wayne Batey, 50 of Stevenson, AL died December 26, 2011 at Highlands Medical Center in Scottsboro, AL. Kenneth was the son of the late James Kenneth and Lois Ann Flatt Batey born July 12, 1961 in Jackson County Alabama. Besides his parents, Kenneth was preceded in death by his daughter Angel Batey.
Survivors include his wife of 18 years Donna Sue Wesley Batey; son David (Crystal) Foote of Flat Rock, AL, Daughter Shanna (Tony) Batey of Stevenson; grandchildren: Timothy, Leanne and Kadence; brothers Jimmy (Nancy) Batey of Huntsville, AL, Danny (Angie) Batey of Hollywood, AL; nieces, nephews, sisters-in-laws and brothers-in-law and other relatives.
Visitation will be Tuesday, 5-9 PM CT at Rudder Funeral Home in Stevenson, AL. The funeral will be 2 PM CT Wednesday, December 28, at the funeral home chapel officiated by Rev. Bud Durham. Interment will be at Pinehaven Memorial Gardens in Hollywood, AL. www.rudderfuneralhomes.com
