Kenneth Donald Devers' Obituary
Kenneth Donald Devers, Sr., age 81 of Scottsboro, died Monday, March 25, 2013, at Highlands Medical Center.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, March 27, 2013, at 2:00 p.m. at Rudder Funeral Home with Rev. Kevin Wilburn and Rev. Greg Hart officiating. Interment will follow at Cedar Hill Cemetery with Rev. James Craft officiating. Visitation will be before the funeral at Rudder Funeral Home on Wednesday from 12:00 to 2:00 p.m.
Mr. Devers was a graduate from Jackson County High School and the University of Alabama. He was a public accountant for many years. He was a member and deacon of First Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife Anne Allison Devers, his daughter Margaret Anne Devers, and his son Kenneth Donald Devers, Jr. He is also survived by his sisters Frances Devers Fellows of Jacksonville Beach, Fla. and Peggy Devers Livesay of Hollywood; his brother J.H. (Mutt) Devers of Scottsboro; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents James Milton Devers Sr., and Naomi Horton Devers, his brothers James Devers, Horton Devers, and Robert Devers.
Memorial donations in lieu of flowers may be made to the First Baptist Church, 215 South Andrews Street, Scottsboro, Alabama 35768.
