I offer you my sincerest condolences for your loss. I think of what Jesus said about his friend Lazarus at John 11:11. He said he was sleeping and he was going to wake him up. John 11:43,44 tells us exactly what he meant when he miraculously brought him back to life. This account shows us that when our loved ones leave us in death they are in a restful state just like when they are sleeping. So they are no longer suffering or in any pain. I look forward to the time when Kenny will wake up just like Lazarus.
