Kyle Edmon "Curley" Meeker, 87 of Stevenson, AL, died January 5, 2015. "Curley" was the son of the late Charlie and Mollie Moore Meeker born November 9, 1927 in Stevenson, AL. He loved to fish, had worked as a warehouse operator with Avondale Mills and also was a farmhand.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by Mildred Moore; Mandy Meeker; siblings: Ruby, Charlsie, Dora, Harvey and Freemon.
He is survived by children: Cathy, Jerry (Sandra), Teddy, Charlie (Ann), Debbie and Darlene; grandchildren: Kevin, Kimm, Becky, Sonya, Leslie, Josh, Alyssa, Cara, Colton, Cody, Mikey, Allan, Christy (Daniel); 14 great-grandchildren; siblings: Jean, Kathryn, Amanda, Dorothy, Sue, Edna and Horace; and a host of other relatives.
Visitation will be Tuesday, 11 AM- 9 PM CT at Rudder Funeral Home in Stevenson, AL. The funeral service will be Wednesday, January 7, at 2 PM CT in the funeral home chapel. Interment will be in Pinehaven Memorial Gardens in Hollywood, AL. www.rudderfuneralhomes.com
