LaDean Rushing Reams, 68 of Stevenson, Alabama, died September 1, 2009 at Highlands Medical Center in Scottsboro, Alabama. She was born March 17, 1941 in Belton, Texas. Mrs. Reams had worked at Mohawk Carpet Mill in South Pittsburg, Tennessee.
Wanda LaDean was preceded in death by her parents Robert E. and Meady Ann Laird Rushing; husband James William "Pappy" Reams; children: Mark Allen Reams and Dawn Denise Reed; brother: Loyd Rushing; sisters: Lorene Nix, Lucille Brown and Margie McMahan.
She leaves behind her granddaughters: Telicia (Adam) Ray and Gayla Reed all of Stevenson; great-grandchildren: Shelby Reed, Shianne Reed, Logan Guess, Zachary Hill, Deshawn Ware, Angel Ware, Alia Cullins; brothers: John Rushing, Bobby Rushing and Ralph Rushing all of TX; sisters: Ester Kelly, Meady Sanders and Mavie Edwards all of TX; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be Thursday, 10 AM-9 PM CDT at Rudder Funeral Home in Stevenson, AL. The funeral will be at 2 PM CDT on Friday, September 4, at the funeral home chapel officiated by Bro. Frankie Carroll.
