Larry Wayne Kirk, 66 of Bridgeport, AL, died December 19, 2015, at Memorial Hospital in Chattanooga, TN. Larry was the son of the late Joe Kirk, Jr. and the late May Belle Phillips Kirk born June 17, 1949 in Stevenson, AL. He was a retired machine operator with Galaxy Carpet Mill in South Pittsburg, TN and worked as an air conditioner and heat pump installer. He was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Stevenson, AL.
Besides his parents, He was preceded in death by his brothers: Joe Kirk III, Robert James Kirk, Sammy Gene Kirk; sister Sarah Ellen Kirk; niece Susie McAllister Gothard; brother-in-law David McAllister.
Survivors include: daughter Casie Belle Kirk; brothers: Albert Lee (Glenda) Kirk of Bartlette, TN, Lee Van Kirk of Cumming, GA; sisters: Norma (John) Sieczkarek of Ooltewah, TN, Carol (Roy) McCarter of Bridgeport, AL, Mary Bryant of Jasper, TN,, Brenda McAllister of Bridgeport, AL; aunt Polly Smith; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be Tuesday, 11 AM- 2 PM CT at Rudder Funeral Home in Bridgeport, AL, The Memorial Service will be Tuesday, December 22, at 2 PM CT in the funeral home chapel officiated by Pastor Brandon Evans. Interment will be in St. Bonaventure Cemetery in Bridgeport, AL. www.rudderfuneralhomes.com.
