Laurence "Larry" James Cahill, 74 of South Pittsburg, TN, died September 22, 2016 at Consulate Health Care of Chattanooga. Laurence was the son of the late Charles Laurence and Alma Slayton Hickman Cahill born January 16, 1942 in Chicago, Indiana. He had worked as a construction carpenter and served in the U. S. Marine Corps.
Besides his parents, Larry was preceded in death by his wife Clara Pearl Granter Cahill; son Sean Cahill; siblings: L.K. Johnson, Charles Johnson, Marchetta Adams, Eartha Kate Cahill.
Survivors include his children: Laura Leeann Cahill of South Pittsburg, TN, Patrick Laurence (Stacy) Cahill of Piedmont, SD; granddaughter Rylee Cahill; sisters: Meloyde Nippert of KY, Cheryl Patton of AZ; nieces, nephews and other relatives.
A Graveside Service will be held Saturday, October 8, at 11 AM in the Orme Mountain Church of God Cemetery in Orme, TN. www.rudderfuneralhomes.com
