Laury Thomas Allison's Obituary
Laury T. Allison was born at Fort McPherson in Atlanta Ga in 1962. Moved around as a child with his Family because his Father Jimmie Allison from Stevenson Alabama was in the Military. He lived in France, Kansas, Alabama, Texas and then Alabama again. Graduated from Scottsboro High School in 1980 and then joined the U.S. Air Force in 1982. Where he was stationed in Germany, Hawaii, Arkansas and Texas. After serving 10 years in the Air Force he served over 5 years in the Alabama Army National Guard and then served over 5 years with the Alabama Air National Guard in 225thCombat Communications Squadron. Where he worked in both Washington DC and in Florida. Laury loved various Military Histories and had a love for collecting. After his various military service Laury worked for Liberty insurance and later worked at West Rock in Stevenson Alabama. Laury always made friends wherever he traveled and that is prevalent in the fact that he has friends all over the US.
Mr. Allison is survived by his father and stepmother, Jimmie and Judy Allison;brother, Clay (Milanes) Allison; nephew, Christopher Allison; nieces, Shelby Allison, Arissamae Allison. He is preceded in death by his mother, Betty Ann Allison.
Visitation will be Wed. Dec. 14th , from 5 ~ 8 p.m.
Funeral Service will be Thurs. Dec. 15th, at 2 p.m., both held at Rudder Funeral Home, Scottsboro.
