Mr Lawrence Roosevelt Campbell's Obituary
Lawrence Roosevelt Campbell, Sr. (OoLee) was born Dec. 8, 1931 to the Late Suzie Tolliver and Alphonso Campbell.
He Enlisted in the United States Air Force and did 30+ years. After Retirement Roosevelt continued to work as a Head Butcher for the Military Bases for another 15 years.
He married his 1st Wife, Gloria in 1955. From this union were born four children. After 49 years of marriage Gloria passed away.
After the passing of his 1st wife, Lawrence moved back to his home in Scottsboro, AL in 2005 to be with his brothers and sisters.
Lawrence Fell in Love with Geneva Evans. After two years of dating, they were united in matrimony, and added three more children to the Family.
Lawrence liked Cowboy movies. As a matter of fact, He was a “Western Movie” man. He Loved Eating At MUD CREEK RESTAURANT Every Friday.
HE WAS ALSO A BIG JOKESTER AND LOVED TO LAUGH!
Lawrence was Big on FAMILY and Worked Hard.
He Joined Greater St. Paul African Methodist Episcopal Church in 2010 under PASTOR, REV. JONATHAN RICHARDSON.
He is preceded in Death by one sister, Mary Gaines.

Campbell of Scottsboro, AL: Two Brothers: James “Doc” (Ruby) Campbell of Scottsboro, AL; Ralph (Shirley) Tolliver of Huntsville, AL; One Sister: Sadie Tolliver Henry of Scottsboro, AL; Five Children: Kevin Keppard of Huntsville, AL; Gwennette Campbell of Houston, TX; Rhonda Campbell (Connie) Johnson and Lawrence “Larry” Campbell, Jr. both of Vallejo, CA; Brenda Campbell (Anthony) Wright of Hayward, CA; Three Step-Children: Deborah (Doug) Williams and Herbert Evans, Jr. both of Scottsboro, AL; Vanessa (Gary) Fomby of Ooltewah, TN; Eight Grandchildren: Rickesha, Angelique, Roy, Endia, Kristopher, Lauryn, Jaliyah, Demariay; Two Step Grandchildren: Kellie and Gabriel; Two Life –long Friends: Rev. William Reed of Wichita, KS and Mr. John Contrell of Oakland, CA; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and Friends.
