Lesley Earl Moore, 88 of Bridgeport, AL, died March 10, 2016 at Highlands Medical Center in Scottsboro, AL. Lesley was the son of the late Charley Anderson and Birdie Lee Ziegler Moore born May 8, 1927 in Jackson County, Alabama. He retired from the City of Bridgeport Street Department.
Besides his parents, Mr. Moore was preceded in death by his wife Lois Juanita Shrader Moore; daughter Shirley Castle; son Rickey Moore, granddaughter Shannon Castle and several brothers and sisters.
Survivors include his daughters Sherry (Bill) Williams of Hollywood, AL, Brenda Moore of Bridgeport, AL; grandchildren: Billy (Regina) Williams and girls of Flat Rock, AL, Chris (Susie) Williams of Bridgeport, Shane (Hillary) Williams of Fackler, AL, John Castle of Stevenson, AL, Scott Castle of Chattanooga, TN; great-grandchildren: Latosha Johnson of Bridgeport, Ethan Williams of Nashville, TN; great-great-granddaughter Brianna Johnson of Bridgeport; sisters: Evelyn Moore and Bernie Wooden both of Flat Rock; nieces, nephews and other relatives.
Visitation will be Friday, March 11, 5-9 PM CT, at Rudder Funeral Home in Stevenson, AL. The Funeral Service will be Saturday, March 12, at 2 PM CT in the funeral home chapel officiated by Rev. Joey Guess. Interment will be in Centennial Baptist Church Cemetery. www.rudderfuneralhomes.com.
