Levert "Boweaver" Harris, 92 of South Pittsburg, TN. Born to Jessie Eugene and Icee Watkins Harris in Fackler, AL on October 18, 1925. Sunset April 6, 2017. He was preceded in death by his parents, sisters: Smylue, Lois, Aileen; brothers: J.N., Arlee, Shelbe, Wilson, Cornell and Benny Harris; two sons: Benny and Howard Harris; two sons-in-law: Charles Williams and Tommy Fuget.
Leaving to mourn his death is his loving wife of 73 years Ruth Fennell Harris; daughters: Peggy Williams, Patricia Merriwether, Lavon Harris and Delilah "Dee" Harris-Scott of Chattanooga, TN; 14 grandchildren, 35 great-grandchildren and 17 great-great-grandchildren; two sisters-in-law: Bernice Moore of Hollywood, AL, Flora Harris of Cleveland OH; nieces, nephews and other relatives.
Mr. Harris was a faithful Deacon and member of Shiloh Baptist Church in Hollywood, AL until his illness did not allow. He had worked at Lodge Manufacturing.
Visitation will be Monday, 5-9 PM CT at Rudder Funeral Home in Bridgeport, AL. The Funeral Service will be Tuesday, April 11, at 2 PM CT in the funeral home chapel officiated by Pastor Mansel Brown. Interment will be in Old Baptist Cemetery in Hollywood, AL. www.rudderfuneralhomes.com
