Lonnie Joe Johnson, age 78 of Scottsboro, AL, passed away on Tuesday, December 6, 2016. He is survived by his daughter, Kimberly Johnson of Huntsville; brothers, Denford (Vilena) Johnson of Crow Mt. and Wendell (Debbie) Johnson of Huntsville; sisters, Janie (Jimmy) Bohannon and Betty Bohanon both of Crow Mt.; as well as several nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his wife, Faye Talley Johnson; parents, Jasper and Velma Johnson; brothers, William, Tommy, and J.C.; sisters, Dorothy Summers, Mary Lou Gilliam, and Jewel Wynn. Visitation for Mr. Johnson will be Wednesday, December 7, 2016 from 5-9 PM at Rudder Funeral Home in Scottsboro. The funeral service will be Thursday, December 8, 2016 at 2 PM in the chapel of Rudder Funeral Home with Bro. Jimmy Bohannon officiating. Burial will immediately follow at Pinehaven Memorial Gardens.
