Louise Morris Porter's Obituary
Louise Morris Porter, age 93 of Scottsboro, passed away Saturday, September 30, 2017 at her home. She was a member of Bethel Baptist Church since 1938. She is survived by her son, Glenn Porter; daughter, Shirley Mansberger; grandchildren, David (Ann) Porter, Anthony Porter, Doug (Evren) Ledbetter, Greg (Jennifer) Ledbetter, Gina Porter, Donna (Terry) McCrackin, Amanda (Nick) Jones, Lori (Lance) Willis; 24 great-grandchildren; and 7 great-great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband, Lee A. Porter; parents, William A. and Allie “Mammie” Morris; son, Billy L. Porter; and daughter-in-law, Linda F. Porter. Visitation for Mrs. Porter will be Sunday, October 1, 2017 from 4-9pm at Rudder Funeral Home in Scottsboro. The funeral service will be Monday, October 2, 2017 at 11am in the funeral home chapel with Bro. Leon Venable and Bro. Fred Porter officiating. Burial will follow at Pinehaven Memorial Gardens.
