Lucille Burrows Barham, 89 of Bridgeport, AL died Saturday, May 22, 2010 at NHC in Chattanooga, TN.
Thelma Lucille was the daughter of late Ed and Lilly Norris Burrows born August 15, 1920 in Wise, VA. She had worked as a retail clerk at Loyd's Department Store in Bridgeport, AL for over 25 years. She was a member of Bridgeport United Methodist Church and OES Chapter 181. Lucille was active at the Bridgeport Senior Center and served as an election clerk.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her grandmother who raised her, Mary Norris; husband Grant Calvin "G.C." Barham; siblings: Richard Burrows, J.E. Burrows and Edna Burrows.
She is survived by her sons: Grant (Nancy) Barham of Bridgeport, AL, Edward (Jane) Barham of Harrison, TN; grandchildren: Grant E. Barham, Jennifer Barham, Steve Barham, Lisa Chapuran, Mandy Barham; nieces, nephews and other relatives.
Visitation will be Sunday, 4-9 PM CDT at Rudder Funeral Home in Bridgeport, AL. The funeral will be Monday, May 24, at 2 PM CDT at the funeral home chapel officiated by Rev. Buster Timmons and Rev. Richard Saylor. Interment will be at Mt. Carmel Cemetery. www.rudderfuneralhomes.com
