Mae Evelyn Anthony Dawson Davidson, 86 of Bridgeport, AL, died August 17, 2016 at her home.
Mae was the daughter of the late Jarrett Jesse and Maggie Viola Mason Anthony born March 2, 1930 in Bridgeport, AL. She had worked as a children's clothing inspector at Bridgeport Manufacturing. Mae was a member of the Church of God in South Pittsburg, TN.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husbands: Edward Reynolds Dawson, Floyd Tate Davidson, Travis M. Norton; Siblings: Luther (Ruthie) Anthony, Samuel (Mattie) Anthony, Jarrett (Dorothy )Anthony, Jr., Paul Grady Anthony, Lois Jean Dawson, Pauline Grace Anthony, brother-in-law Charles Parris, son-in-law Ronald K. Dawson.
Survivors include her children: Doris Jean Dawson, Harold Edward (Marsha) Dawson, Randy Reynolds Dawson; grandchildren: Meshone Layne, Jennifer Layne, Jacob Dawson, Adam Dawson, Lisa Delaney, Karen Suggs, Randy Edward Dawson, Kindra Dawson; 13 great-grandchildren; sister Mary Ruth Parris; step-sisters: Edna Stevens, Betty and Aileen; brother-in-law Billy Dawson; nieces, nephews and other relatives.
Visitation will be Thursday 5-9 PM CDT, Friday 11 AM-9 PM CDT at Rudder Funeral Home in Bridgeport. The Funeral Service will be Saturday, August 20, at 11 AM CDT in the funeral home chapel officiated by Bishop David Swayner and Bro. Tom George. Interment will be in Mt.
