Maleek Ty Batey, 5 months old of Stevenson, AL, died July 6, 2009 at T.C. Thompson Children's Hospital in Chattanooga, TN.
Ty is survived by his parents Sammy Joe Batey and Megan Michelle Hutchins of Stevenson; siblings: Jonthan Evans, Sammy Joe Batey, Jr. and Komara Batey; grandparents Rita Wilson, Sammy Lee Batey; great-grandmother Cassie McDonald.
He was preceded in death by his grandmother Mattie B. Hutchins.
The graveside service will be Friday, July 10, at 1 PM CDT at the Stevenson Community Cemetery. Arrangements handled by Rudder Funeral Home in Stevenson. www.rudderfuneralhomes.com
