Manley Akery's Obituary
Manley Akery, age 88, of Scottsboro, Alabama passed away on Thursday, June 27, 2019.
Manley is survived by his wife Marie Akery; two sons: Charles (Frances) Akery of Trion, GA and Roy (Brenda) Akery of Fort Payne, AL; four grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; bother: Melton Akery of Richmond, VA; sisters: Mildred Hammicker of Bakersfield, CA; Josie Amsberry of Bakersfield, CA; Nellie Homes of Bakersfield, CA.
He was preceded in death by his parents Fred Akery and Tessie Jones Akery and grandson Brian Brewster.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, June 29, 2019 from 2 PM until 4 PM at the Rudder Funeral Home in Scottsboro.
Funeral service for Mr. Akery will be held following the visitation at 4 PM in the Chapel of Rudder Funeral Home in Scottsboro.
Burial will follow into Center Point Baptist Church Cemetery - Scottsboro, AL.
