Marilyn Murray Tant's Obituary
Marilyn Ann Murray Tant, 72 of Bridgeport, AL, passed away February 5, 2019 at Cumberland Health and Rehab. Visitation will be Sunday, 1-3 PM at Rudder Funeral Home in Bridgeport and the Funeral Service will begin at 3 in the funeral home chapel officiated by Randy Smith. Interment will be in Sequatchie Valley Memorial Gardens in Jasper, TN. She had worked in the office at Shaw Industries and was a member of Bridgeport Church of Christ since 1964.
Mrs. Tant was preceded in death by her husband John Tant and parents Barm Tatum and Freeda Florene Thompson Murray.
Survivors include: sister Barbara (James) Holcomb of Bridgeport, AL; brother Bill (Monica) Murray of Cartersville, GA; nieces: Shannon (Jim) Turner of Sale Creek, TN, Michelle (Marvin) Dawson of South Pittsburg, TN, Cara (Paxton) Russell of Cartersvillle, GA; nephews: Matthew Dayton of Sale Creek, TN, Jared and Josh Dawson of South Pittsburg, TN, Tate Murray of Cartersville, GA; and a lot of other relatives and good friends. www.rudderfuneralhomes.com
