Martha Louise Hoosier Dawson, 86 of Old Hickory, TN, died August 22, 2016 at Alive Hospice in Madison, TN. Martha Louise was the daughter of the late Clarence G. "Tom" and Mildred Louise Garner Hoosier, born June 21, 1930 in Anderson, TN. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Raymond A. Dawson, Sr.; sister Ann (Ben) Willis. She was a member of Old Hickory Church of Christ.
Survivors include her son Raymond A. Dawson, Jr. of Old Hickory, TN; sisters: Jean (Pete) Ferguson of Stevenson, AL, Virginia Barksdale and Earline (Ray) Shannon both of Nashville, TN; brothers: Buddy (Annie) Hoosier of Sewanee, TN, Jimmy (Louise) Hoosier of Stevenson, AL:, Bobby (Linda) Hoosier, Gerry (Caroline) Hoosier and Jerry (Faye) Hoosier all of Sherwood, TN,, Donnie (Rhonda) Hoosier of Stevenson, AL; 12 nieces, 11 nephews and other relatives.
Visitation will be Thursday, Noon till 2 PM CDT at Rudder Funeral Home in Bridgeport, AL. The Funeral Service will begin at 2 PM on Thursday, August 25, in the funeral home chapel officiated by Bro.
