Mary Gladys Decker Cash, 90 of the Orme Community of South Pittsburg, TN died January 26, 2014 at Grandview Medical Center in Jasper, TN. She was born May 27, 1923 in the Battle Creek Community of Kimball, TN. Mrs. Cash was a member of Orme Valley Church of God.
She was preceded in death by her father Sterril Decker; mother Lola Florence Sargent White; step-father Oscar White; husband Leonard Manuel Cash; children: Joe Oscar Cash, John Cash, Sam Cash, Mary Catherine Knight, Ann Tucker; siblings: Hubert Decker, Franklin White, Thelma Swain, Bertha Raley, and Odell Owens.
Survivors include her children: Lola (Roy) Sargent of Las Vegas, NV, Carolyn Davis of Chatsworth, GA, Billy (Debbie) Cash of South Pittsburg, TN; 25 Grandchildren; 43 Great-Grandchildren; 8 Great-Great-Grandchildren; siblings: Allie Berry of Huntsville, AL, Jane Ellen Maggart of Nashville, TN, June Lyles of Murphreesboro, TN, Beverly Smith of Nashville, TN, Raymond "R.D." White of Nashville, TN, Roy White of Nashville, TN, Charles White of Smithville, TN; a host of other relatives.
Visitation will be Monday and Tuesday 1-9 PM CST at Rudder Funeral Home in Bridgeport, AL. The funeral service will be Wednesday, January 29, at 1 PM CST at the funeral home chapel. Interment will be in Dorans Cove Cemetery in Bridgeport, AL. www.rudderfuneralhomes.com
