Miss Mary Jane Hendrix's Obituary
Mary Jane Hendrix, daughter of the late John E. and Lizzie Hendrix was born September 04, 1925 in Scottsboro, Alabama. She departed this life on November 8, 2018.
Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, November 14, 2018 at 1 p.m., at the Rudder Funeral Home in Scottsboro with Rev. Lasagne “Lacy” Smith and Bro. Johnny Johnson officiating. Interment will follow in Cedar Hill Cemetery.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 12 noon until time of service.
Miss Hendrix was a lifelong member of Greater St. Paul A.M.E. Church. She dedicated her life to the service of family and others. She was most happy helping to rear her niece and nephews and great nieces and nephews and great great nieces and nephews. She loved fishing, working jigsaw puzzles, cooking and feeding others. She was a fan of Alabama football.
She leaves to mourn her death one niece Jo Anne Hill of Scottsboro; two nephews, Howard Hill of Scottsboro and Lonnie Hendrix of Lincoln, Alabama: an array of great nieces and nephews, great great nieces and nephews, great great great nieces and nephews;and a host of other relatives and friends.
Miss Hendrix is preceded in death by her Parents John Eddie Sr. and Lizzie H. Hendrix; sisters Veda Pearl Hendrix and Della Hill: Brothers John Eddie Hendrix, Jr. and Bobby Hendrix: Nephews Thomas Fennell and Jimmy Hendrix
