Mrs. Mary Jane "Granny" Chance's Obituary
Mrs. Mary Jane "Granny" Chance 91 of Scottsboro, Alabama passed away on Sunday December 18, 2022
at her home. Mary Jane was retired from the Piggly Wiggly after 43 years of service working in the Meat Dept. and last as a cook in the Deli. She was a native of Jackson Co. and a member of the Baptist faith.
Mary Jane is survived by her son Mack (Margaret) Hiland, Daughters Doris (Randy) Mims, Annette Treece,
Renee (Johnny) Willis, and Dana (Patrick) Allen. Also, her Fourteen Grand Children, Twenty-Five Great Grand Children, and Six Great Great Grand Children, and several Nieces, and Nephews. Pallbearers will be
Eddie Carter, Mike Mitchell, Robert Anderson, Greg Bell, Dick Ashmore and Ringo Still Jr.. Mary Jane was preceded in death by her Husband William Paul Chance, parents Burt and Amanda Hall her fourteen Brothers and Sisters, and her Great Granddaughter.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 3 PM until 8 PM at the Rudder Funeral Home in Scottsboro, Alabama. Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday December 21, 2022, at 1 PM from the Chapel of Rudder Funeral Home in Scottsboro with Bro James Jeffery and Bro Tim Ingram officiating. Burial will follow in Pine Haven Memorial Gardens in Hollywood, Alabama.
