Margaret Withers Patterson, 85 of Stevenson, AL, died May 5, 2013 at her home. Mary Margaret was the daughter of the late Edward Eugene and Myrtie Angeline Bogart Withers born January 7, 1928 in Atlanta, GA. She had been an income tax preparer for H&R Block and was a member of First Baptist Church in Stevenson.
Besides her parents, Margaret was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years Ralph Patterson; brothers Joseph Eugene and Charles Rosson Withers.
Survivors include her children: Marilyn Morrison of Stevenson, AL, Deborah Gammel of Mechanicsville, VA, Patricia Matthews of Stevenson, AL and Marion Patterson of Jasper, GA; 8 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be Monday, May 6, at 12 noon- 1:30 PM CDT at Rudder Funeral Home in Stevenson, AL. The Graveside Service will be Monday, beginning at 2 PM CDT at Pinehaven Memorial Gardens in Hollywood, AL officiated by Rev. Brandon Evans. www.rudderfuneralhome.com
