Mary Russell Grider Raulston, 82 of Stevenson, AL died February 3, 2010 at the home of her daughter. Mary was the daughter of George Matt and Sophia Ann "Annie" Rorex Grider, born May 22, 1927 in Stevenson, AL. She was a member of the Church of Christ. Mrs. Raulston was preceded in death by her husband Russell Crownover "R.C." Raulston; daughter Patricia Ann Raulston; parents; siblings: Rorex Grider, Audie Phillips, Bud Grider, Kate Grider, Mack Grider, Tom (Mary Ruth "Doll") Grider. She is survived by her children: Sharon (Terry) Allison, Gary (Marlene) Raulston; grandchildren: Haley (Chris) Thomas, Amy Allison, Whitney Raulston, Nick Raulston, Nate Raulston; great-grandchildren: Boone Thomas, Drake Thomas all of Stevenson, AL; sister Betty (Tal) Thomas of Scottsboro, AL; and many beloved nephews, nieces and cousins. Visitation will be Thursday, 5-9 PM CST at Rudder Funeral Home in Stevenson. The funeral service will be held Friday, February 5, at 2 PM CST at the funeral home chapel officiated by Bro. Tim Rice. Interment will be at Mt. Carmel Cemetry in Bridgeport, AL.
