Mary L. Snodgrass' Obituary
Mary Leola Snodgrass, age 85 of Hollywood, passed away on September 1, 2015. She was a retired teacher with the Jackson County Board of Education, as well as Superintendent of Sunday School, President of Senior Choir, Church Clerk, and kitchen supervisor. She is preceded in death by her parents John Wesley and Mary Wellington Snodgrass; sister Susie Christine Snodgrass; stepmother Cora Matoka Snodgrass. Ms. Snodgrass is survived by her uncle James Frank (Jakie) Snodgrass of Detroit, MI; aunts Imogene Martin of Middleton, OH and Thelma Snodgrass of Scottsboro, AL. Visitation for Ms. Snodgrass is Tuesday, September 8, 2015 at 1:00 PM at New Hope Missionary Baptist Church in Hollywood. Funeral Services will begin at 2:00 PM with burial to follow at Pinehaven Memorial Gardens in Hollywood with Rev. William Tibbs officiating. Rudder Funeral Home in Scottsboro is assisting the family.
