Mary Louise Tolliver, 80 of Scottsboro, passed away on Sunday, August, 18, 2013 at Cumberland Health and Rehab.
She is survived by sons; James (Loretta) Tolliver of Scottsboro and Glenn Ray Tolliver of Atlanta, GA.
Daughter, Carolyn Ann (Ronnie) Martin of Hollywood, AL
Grandchildren; Shawn (Scharlyn) Martin, Shenia Martin and Rashad Tolliver.
Step-grandchildren; Kristen Lyons and David J. Stevens.
Great-grandchildren; Abigail & Olivia Martin.
Brothers-in-law; James (Ruby) Campbell and Ralph (Shirley) Tolliver.
Sisters; Vernice Branford of Hollywood, Lula Tolliver, Juanita Page both of California.
Sisters-in-laws, Evelyn Tolliver, Sadie Henry of Scottsboro and Betty Jolly of Huntsville, AL
Several nieces and nephews.
Ms. Tolliver was preceded in death by her husband, John Will Tolliver, parents, John and Mary Doss Johnson, grandson, Victor Tolliver, sister, Rev. Betty Nicholson, and brother, John Talley Johnson.
Mary Louise was retired from Fieldcrest Mills, was a member of the Greater St. Paul AME Church, she was a Sunday School Superintendent and a member of the Missionary Society and several other boards.
Visitation will 11 AM-1 PM, Friday, August 23, 2013 at the Greater St. Paul AME Church in Scottsboro
The funeral service will follow immediately at 1 PM at the church officiated by Rev. Fredrick Sherrod
d Bishop James L. Davis.
Interment will be at Cedar Hill Cemetery. Rudder Funeral Home Scottsboro is assisting the family.
