Melvin Webb Hembree, 74 of Bryant, AL, died August 19, 2015 at his home. Mel was the son of the late Isaac Shilo and Cynthia Virginia Haynesworth Hembree, Jr. born August 19, 1941 in Chattanooga, TN. Mel was a 1960 Graduate of City High School in Chattanooga, TN. He had been an All State Insurance Agent. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife Karen Pyle Hembree.
Survivors include his wife Ann Severns Craig Hembree of Bryant, AL; daughters: Dawn Gardiner of Lincoln, NE and Ashley Gardiner of Knoxville, TN.
Visitation will be Monday, August 24, from 10 AM - 2 PM CDT at Rudder Funeral Home in Stevenson, Alabama. The funeral service will begin at 2 PM CDT in the funeral home chapel. Interment will be in Harris Chapel Cemetery. www.rudderfuneralhomes.com
