Mr. Michael Fitzgerald Green 61 of Scottsboro, Alabama passed away on Sunday
December 7, 2025 at Memorial Hospital in Chattanooga, Tennessee following a
short illness with his loved ones by his side. Michael was retired from the City of Scottsboro, Alabama where he was a equipment operator for the street dept. Michael
a member of the Scottsboro High School class of 1982. He was the son of Bessie Harris and Eugene Scruggs Sr. He leaves to mourn his passing mother, Bessie Harris; father, Eugene Scruggs, Sr. (Ethel); brothers, Demetrious (Shannon) Green & Eugene (Deborah) Scruggs, Jr.; sisters, Tina (Tony) Nail, Roxanne (William) Kyle, Marilyn Stewart, Sabrina Scruggs, Trudi Scruggs, and Vauletta (Robert) Langham; aunt, Willie Lee Green, Life long companion, Debbie Doss; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 13, 2025 from 11:30AM-2:00PM at rudder funeral home in Scottsboro. Funeral Service will follow at 2:00.
