Mildred Mayhall Hancock, age 94 of Scottsboro, passed away Tuesday, October 1, 2013 at her daughter’s home in Madison, Alabama. Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 3rd from 11:00-1:00 at Rudder Funeral Home in Scottsboro. Funeral services will also be held Thursday beginning at 1:00PM in the chapel of Rudder Funeral Home. Nesbitt Sanford and Terry Broome will officiate the service with burial following in the Goosepond Cemetery.
Mrs. Hancock was preceded in death her husband, James Roy Hancock and
is survived by her daughter, Virginia Phillips of Madison; Granddaughter, Regina Nobrega of Madison; Grandson, Michael Phillips of Huntsville; Great Grandchildren, Drew Phillips, Michelle Phillips, Zachary Nobrega; Sister, Lorene McClendon of Scottsboro; Brother, James Mayhall of Social Circle, GA.
