Mildred Ailene Moore, 75 of Stevenson, AL, died July 10, 2010 at her home. Mildred was the daughter of the late Steve and Amanda Bowman Stallings born April 21, 1935 in Stevenson, AL. She was a member of Word of Life Baptist Church. Mildred had worked as a housekeeper and Home Health Care.
Besides her parents, Mildred was preceded in death by: her sister Alice Crouch; brothers; Edd Stallings, J.C. Stallings, Bill Stallings and Charles Stallings.
Survivors include: Husband Kyle "Curley" Meeker of Stevenson, children: Darlene Hollowell of Stevenson, Debbie (Jon) Steckel of Henagar, AL, Charlie (Ann) Brown of Stevenson; five grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; brother Jim Stallings of CA; nieces, nephews and other relatives.
Visitation will be Sunday 5-9 PM CDT and Monday 10 AM-9 PM CDT at Rudder Funeral Home in Stevenson, AL. The funeral service will be Tuesday, July 13, at 11 AM CDT at the funeral home chapel officiated by Rev. Bud Guess.
