Morris Letcher Roberts' Obituary
Morris Letcher Roberts, age 80 of Scottsboro, AL, passed away on Wednesday, August 26, 2015. He is retired from Norfolk Southern and is a U.S. Army veteran. Mr. Roberts is survived by his daughter Robin & Steven Wright; sister Helen & Billy Thames; several nieces & nephews; adopted grandson Ethan; caregiver Rita Gaas; and his cats Marley, TK, Squirt, and Little Gal. He is preceded in death by his parents William & Pearl Roberts; wife Joan Roberts; sister Frances Elizabeth Diana Lytle; brothers William H. Roberts, Gene Davis Bryan Roberts. Mr. Roberts was a proud member of the Scottsboro Senior Center.
Visitation for Mr. Roberts will be Sunday, August 30 from 4:00 – 7:00 pm at Rudder Funeral Home in Scottsboro. Funeral services will be Monday, August 31 at 1:30 CDT at the National Cemetery in Chattanooga, TN. In leiu of flowers, donations may be made to Safehaven Animal Shelter.
