Nancy Bo Rudder McCrary, 84 of Stevenson, AL, died June 26, 2014 at her home. Nancy was the daughter of the late Hugh Donnley "Hunt" and Nannie Eldridge Allison Rudder born October 4, 1929 in Stevenson, Alabama. She had worked as a spinner at Avondale and Salem Carpet Mills and at the Stevenson Depot Museum. She was a member of Cumberland Presbyterian Church in Stevenson and the Monthly Readers Book Club. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Carmen Elbert McCrary, Sr. and brother Hugh D. "Buddy" Rudder. Survivors include her son Carmen E. "Sonny" McCrary, Jr. of Stevenson, AL; grandsons: Ryan (Kirstin) McCrary of Quantico, VA, Logan McCrary and Taylor McCrary of Fredericksburg, VA; great-grandchildren: Collin and Kyleigh McCrary; sisters: Norma Lou Holder of Chattanooga, TN, Betty Jane Robertson of Soddy Daisy, TN, Patsy Ruth (Roy) Dobbins of Stevenson, AL. Visitation will be Saturday, 5-8 PM CDT at Rudder Funeral Home in Stevenson, AL. The Funeral Service will be Sunday, June 29, at 2 PM CDT at the funeral home chapel officiated by Rev. Perry Whitaker followed by interment in Stevenson City Cemetery. www.rudderfuneralhomes.com
