Nancy Jo McCurdy Rogers, 88 of Etowah, TN, died January 5, 2016 at Etowah Healthcare Center. Nancy was the daughter of the late William Almond and Tennessee Callwell McCurdy born May 17, 1927 in Bridgeport, AL. Nancy had lived in Trenton, GA many years before moving to TN.
Besides her parents, Mrs. Rogers was preceded in death by her husband Robert Lee Rogers; daughters Robbie Jo Hand and Sandra Gilliam.
Survivors include her children: Eloise (Jackie) Cooper of Bridgeport, AL, William Lee (Tari Holcomb) Rogers of Cleveland, TN, George Edward (Rebecca) Rogers of Resaca, GA; grandchildren: Amanda Noel Parker, Jimmy Lee Hand, Hayley Madison Compton, Hayden Kristopher Compton, Dakota Brown, Katie Brown, Brandy Brown, Darrin McCloud, Barry McCloud, Joseph Cooper; and several great-grandchildren.
Services will be Friday, January 8, with visitation 10 AM-1 PM CT at Rudder Funeral Home in Bridgeport and the Graveside Service beginning at 1 PM CT in St. Bonaventure Cemetery. www.rudderfuneralhomes.com
