Mr. Nolen Leon Shelton, 85, passed away, Sunday, November 26, 2023.
Mr. Shelton served our country with US Air Force.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas and Evie Shelton; grandson, Noah Holiman; sisters, Pauline Winninger, Ruth Crowe, Loretta Hancock; brothers, Delbert Shelton, Julian Shelton.
He is survived by his wife, Betty Shelton; daughter, Sherry and David Holiman; son, Douglas and Carrie Shelton; grandchildren, Jonathan and Nicole Shelton, Ashley and Weston Mason, Matthew and Sarah Shelton, Nicholas Shelton, Sarah and Cody Martin, Andrew Holiman; great grandchildren, Audrey Shelton, Zane Shelton, Camryn Mason, Collin Mason, Cadence Martin, Cameron Ludin, Sara Munson, Blayne Munson; sister, Mary Johnson; brother, Alvie Shelton and Pat; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be Friday, December 1, 2023 at 1:00 p.m. at Rudder Funeral Home in Scottsboro with Rev. Douglas N. Shelton and Rev. David Cofield officiating. The family will begin receiving friends at 11:00 a.m., prior to the start of service. Burial will follow in Pinehaven Memorial Gardens, Hollywood, Al., with Military Honors.
